Afternoon all. Can I interest you in side-by-side footage of two popular (or sure-to-be popular) third-person shooter action simulator thingies? No? Well how about the sound of a woman's voice slowed down to a quarter-speed? This "GTA 5 vs Max Payne 3" video from Youtube user datarace1 proffers both. Gunnery isn't the only thing the two games have in common. Max Payne 3's Crews will transfer over to GTA 5 multiplayer once the latter hits shelves, as part of a larger plan "to make multiplayer deeper and richer than what's currently available, much more easily accessible to the newcomer and rewarding for the hardcore".
A fine time to reflect on the third Payne outing. I thought it was an absolute grindfest, but I enjoyed it hugely nonetheless. Here's hoping some of that shoot-dodge stuff makes it into the presumably inevitable Red Dead Redemption 2.
