Video is scrambled! Not sure what it could be!!

Hey guys! I am using a refurbished xbox and now when I start up the video is messed up. It did this a few times before and when I wiggled the wires coming from the power supply (Opened the xbox up) it would flicker back to the normal screen but now it just stays on the scrambled picture. What could this be? Any feedback welcomed. Thanks in advance!

you might have changed the video setting which could cause the scrambling

Need to know what type of connection you are using to TV/Monitor? ( Scart/RF )

Also have you tried wiggling the AV connector at the back?

If you sometimes appeared to lose a colour , it could be one of the RGB lines come loose,
as the picture sync is piggybacked on one of the RGB lines.

Also "scrambled" is a bit vague!

Boot up an hols A+B+X+Y
continue to hold till the box reboots by itself, you should be done.
