Just did the install on a 1.6 and everything worked great, turned on the modchip and got into the bios window fine its just that I can't scroll down and select the load BIOS from Disc button or scroll to anything else for that matter. No weird flashing of light to speak of and flash protection is disabled on the chip and on the dip switch. Help?

I am having the same problem. Brand new v1.6 xbox with included controller. Installed Xecuter3 without issue but I cannot select anything in the flashbios 3.0.1 screen. I cannot get anything on cd/dvd to load either. Xbox works fine with mod disabled. Ideas anyone???

I only have one controller connected nothing else. Tried all 4 ports. No luck. My xbox did come with the smaller controller S instead of the older larger ones M$ originally came out with. Could that be the problem? I have tried everything and and running out of ideas now.

just got it fixed. I bought an old type MS controller. Worked first try. I guess the "s" type have a problem sometimes
XBC error wne trying to burn game
when i try to burn a back up i made with XBC and benq 008 and ran through abgx and when i try to burn i get the error "Backup Imige dosent match filesize,
Expected:7.05 gb
Actual: 7.30 GB
????
can i just use cd cloner to burn it or do i have to use XBC

the game im trying to burn is Boarderlands do i have to extract the dmi pfi ss and video using xbc with 008 drive will that make it work i also tryed burning army of 2 40th day and i comes up with same error

just load xbc. insert game and on the read tab select complete backup and start. select where to save the file and just let it run dont touch any other settings. thats what i do and the rips are 100% perfect everytime. should come back as 7.29 gb.

when i load xbc and below were you select witch drive i says dvd rom

then when i click the unlock tab it changes to 6.81 gb

no dont click no tabs. just put the game in and click start and itll just read it. it should only say a small file size below the dvd drive name. trust me dont do anything except click start. itll unlock and read the game and itll come back as 7.29 gb. it does everything for you.
