[USA] Wanted: Laptop for burning back ups

I'm looking for a CHEAP laptop in decent condition with dual layer burner for back ups.
10" to 17" is fine.
40g and up sata harddrive
Probably around $150- 350.
Running AT LEAST windows xp or iOS 5
Would love a DELL.

A laptop burner will never match the quality of a desktop burner no matter how much you spend. Desktop burners can calibrate their lasers more precise than those of laptops.

If you must get a laptop then use an external dual burner instead of an internal one.

if ur gonna be using a laptop to burn ur games then be ready to replace it every year or so and u can burn at the fastest 4x speed

I have just bought a Toshiba laptop from office depot.I paid 329.99 for it new!O/S is windows 7 64 bit-3gb of ram-320gb hdd-17inch monitor-Amd Dual core processor @2.2ghz.It's not the best but for what it has in it for the money...it was a damn good deal!yes it does have a dl DVD burner.But I agree with everyone else It's not the best choice for burning backups.
