Wanted liteon 83850c pcb

Wanted liteon 83850c pcb,as I plugged the power cable in the wrong way,for about 1 sec.the drive still power on but has 1 small burn next to 2 caps.
I have not extracted the key from it yet,it was flashed back to stock after GOW3.
I have just ordered a CK3 and probes will I be able to get the key with these.
When its back in the xbox i insert the game and close the tray it powers off and then back on then says open tray.
Its from a late 2009 Jasper and I would like to get it up and running again.

Help needed.
Please...

Any phat lite-on PCB will work (i.e.7xxxx, 8xxxx (v1 & v2) 9xxxx) in your drive. It needs the key (obviously) but it will probably be easier to get the whole drive

I suspect that you will not be able to retrieve your key but Teajunkie probably will be able to....check out his Services thread and post a request

If you wish I can fix the PCB and retrieve your key for you. I don't have spare PCB's but full Liteon drives and intact.

if he teajunkie cant fix it no1 can. i got a brand new liteon for £20 from ebay in the origonal packaging never been opened, it worked perfectly. so if all else fails you can get a new drive for as little as £20.

I tried to get the key with the probe about 1/2 hour ago.
I get to the bit where i probe the point and then lift of the button and it say complete,then power of the drive and after about 30 seconds it says stage 1 failed,stage 2 failed.
I don't know enough to try any different.

I have to thank MWN for the nice tidy job he did with my PCB ,and extracting the keys and dummy.bin file.
First class ,helpful and friendly.
