as title suggests im after a virgin 7 series so i can practice i think at this moment in time the 8 series v2 and the 9 series are out of my league but would really like to see if i can do a liteon if anyone has one for sale pm me with price but must be a virgin

They are all the same so not out of your league.
You still need to do a full dump of the 74 so its the same proceedure for all three
i just want to flash the 7 series with the probe in probe 1 mode see if i can do it as to the cutting of traces and so on it well out of my league for now but i might butcher the 7 series after ive sucessfully flashed it
thats the point i dont want 2 cut the traces yet lots to learn before i get to the cuts thats why i need a virgin liteon so i can probe the r707 hole no point getting a non virgin that doesnt need probing i wouldnt learn much from that
any liteon 7 will do just write stock firmware on it then probe it , probably take you five minutes to do then youll be bored for the rest of the day 
buy a 8 or 9 series and mess about with that as long as you read the tutorials try that

ive got a 9 series but it in my brand new elite im waiting for idiot proof lol only been flashing about a week and it only a hobby so dont want a broken xbox so you say any liteon can still be probed as long as i put the firmware to stock and treat it like a virgin

am i correct in thinking that the ones from mod traders and ck3 are brand new so wont have a key on them so it not gonna be possible to extract a key and ive searched ebay but they all new aswell accept one bloke and his is broke no point in buying a broken one

i think when places refer to the drives as being new 90% of the time theyre refurbs mate so theyve still got a key on them. ive had a couple off ebay that have been sold as new but theyve had a key on. i had one from modtraders but that had no key i think.
You could flash a stock firmware to it put a fake key onto it. If you get the key out then you know it works.
one problem when probing a virgin liteon you will not get the calibration data, you need a full dump for this i.e MRA method
