JTAG wanting to run xex and fsd etc off thumb drive.

I would like to set up xex menu, fsd, xm360, and nxe2god from my thumb drive.
I want to be able to use my xbox hdd on 2 consoles. I have a tagged falcon, and a stock zephyr. My plan is to put the hdd on the zephyr to get title updates from live, and then put the hdd on the falcon to play my games, and dlc. That way, I always have the most current TU. I don't want to have 'jtag programs' on the m$ HDD, just in case it can be seen, as I don't want to get banned on my live console.
I don't use any type of dlc on my live console, just legit games.
So...Do I plug my flash drive into the xbox and let it format to FATX? And then transfer said programs with transfer cable with Buffalo drive explorer? Is that correct? I just want to make sure that the 4 mentioned programs will load properly from a flash drive...

title update manager in fsd takes care of all latest updates i think and you can transfer dlc to jtag via usb flash drive formatted with live console or if dlc is on pc just format flash drive with pc to fat32.

I don't have my tag set up to connect online.
Will the programs load fine from an xbox formatted(FATX) thumb drive?
My DLC will be loaded from my laptop to the m$ HDD with a transfer cable.

only takes a second to hook up a lan cable to the jtag to grab title updates.

fat32 pen drive is easiest way to transfer dlc from pc to jtag but transfer cable fine too.

think you need the hdd with a launch ini file to point to usb drive for this to work so defeats your objective. if you format just a section of the hdd in nxe format option it may be possible long as you have launch ini but then you may as well have all your fsd setup on hdd too.try it and see. i never done it so maybe someone else can advise.

fsd will connect differently than live? I havent looked into it at all yet. I'm still new with this jtag stuff.

u should have live blocked by family settings and configured to be blocked by dash launch 2.22.

your still able to download title updates and box art and play online via xlink kai.
