Warning : possible bad dump? Hhhelp!

Hi Everybody
I followed the tutorial on my Hitachi 0078 drive...got to the point to make a D,D, Dump ...I click on raw dump firmwire
I get this Error :-
Warning : possible bad dump:
the data dumped does not match its own checksum (you can try dumping again) Do you want to accept this dump anyway?

Tried This A few times but with the same outcome? Any Ideas?

I'm using :
xp 2500
Asus A7n8x-e
512ram
with a Silicon Image Sil 3112 SataRaid Controller
(Is this the right Controller??if not what should I use?)

i believe SIL chipsets are causing bad dumps, incomplete dumps.

That is correct, 360 Firmware Toolbox does not work properly with Sil chipsets. You need to buy another chipset that has been known to work.

I can recommend the VIA VT6421, but it has been known to not work with the odd v78 drive.
