360wHitachi UpdatedwNew Dash Won't Sync WirelessControl

My console with a Hitachi v78 drive with iXtreme 1.51 was accidentally updated with the latest dash when a backup was loaded.

Now, the console will not sync with my wireless controllers.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

sounds like you need to change your controller batteries

The controllers have new batteries. I was able to sync them on another console.

Can the update for the new dash be re-run?

I didn't actually witness the update performed. My nephews put in a backup (NFS Hot Pursuit) with AP 2.5 and the new dash. They said it didn't work. Afterwards, the wireless controllers would not sync with this console.

I should have put the disk away knowing that it had not been updated to the latest FW for Hitachi.

I'm assuming that somehow the update didn't complete successfully. Other games still work.
