At a hands-on preview with Watch Dogs in Paris, Ed chatted to the game's creative director Jonathan Morin, who teased aspects of the game's multiplayer mode, but refused to give too much away as a lot of its allure lies in its secrecy. Morin will be gutted to learn that multiplayer footage of the game has leaked ahead of time, then. The footage, which was presumably uploaded prematurely to Ubisoft's YouTube channel before being pulled, shows the game's protagonist Aiden Pierce tracking down another player's 'hacker' using his mobile phone and CCTV camera feeds before chasing him down to kill him.
The game then switches, with Aiden now playing the hacker and trying to stay hidden as he hacks another player from afar. Its cat and mouse vibe is more than a little reminiscent of Assassin's Creed's distinctive multiplayer modes. Ubi have since pulled the official video for now, but thanks to GeekMundo, you can watch it below.

What do you think, tempted by the multiplayer? Or are you all about Watch Dogs' techno-thriller single player story?
