I am attempting to put a 2.6 chip in to a what I believe is a 1.6 xbox, (5-1-2005 date)
I did all of the rebuild and soders it boots up but the screen has a lot of lines going across like a bad tv station, and you hear the animation music but then it flashes red green and is all static on screen.
When turned off, the eject button is orange.... anyone know what I might of done wrong?
The soders seem solid, I'll go over them again if you guys think that is the problem but it seems like it is working.
