Look i tested to burn Mortal Kombat Deception on a fujifilm dvd+rw it didnt work but when i tested to burn Metal slug 3 it worked. Is it wrong with the dvd or the Mortal Kombat Deception iso?

btw: i have a thomson dvd drive in my xbox

you say tested to burn so i'm guessin u mean you din't actually burn nething you just click the test burn button... and only 1 of the 2 games worked? that could be caused by alot of reasons. 1) ya a bad iso (which hopefully u din't dl cuz dling games is bad) or just a software error. if you did actually burn it and mk dec din't work it could be the xbox was having trouble reading the disc or again the iso is a piece of junk.

i didnt test. i did burn the games with help of a tutorial here on Teamxecuter.com

Did you download the ISO, or did you copy it from an xbox disk?

Does the game show up in your xbox at all... IE does it recognize files on the disk?

It could have been a bad burn... if your using a RW, Retry to burn the iso, and make sure you either Verify it, or you're not touching the PC when your doing it. Thomson drives really suck... any errors or light burning and it's not going to work very good.

Make sure your ripping it correctly. Test the extracted ISO you copied it from, and make sure it plays on the hd. if it doesnt... it's not the burning, and it's the way your copying it.

What app did you use?

Alcohol %120 seems to work the best...

But... it'll skip over disk errors.. it's a setup option, and your ISO is worth crap if it does.

rip it from original disk to the xbox's hdd using "dvd2xbox v0.6.6" then use quix to make it into a iso from your xbox... then burn with nero ... see how this works.

did you say IE (as in internet explorer) reads the contents of xbox discs?

IE Stands for basically "In Example" Like "For instance". Internet explorer... doesnt read contents of a disk. If your looking to read contents of a disk through a DVD Drive... check out c-xbox tool or something along the lines

ohhhhh. i copy games by putting them in my disc drive of my box n then creatin isos of them usin qwix. i thought you meant internet explorer which struck me as odd because the standard explorer doesnt bypass copy protection
