Wow, i've just shelved my xbox for a few months after flashing it to LT+ when it first came out and i've just read about the new xdg2/3 checks?

I got the dvd key saved previously before i flashed it to LT+.

I've read that the procedure now is to flash to stock fw(how?), then run dash update, then flash LT+ v2.0

Firstly i guess i will need find that stock fw? Assuming i saved it before flashing, are there any special tools required to flash from stock to LT+ v2.0 ?

Cause i remembered when the guy helped me flash the drive the very first time, some kind of probe/jtag was needed.

Thanks.

Right mate, well if you've been away from alittle things are basically the same with afew changes, you do need flash back to Stock, update via xbox live then flash to 2.0,
Todo this download latest Jungle Flasher, Put your .dummy "ofw" in the firmware folder along with Stock fw for your drive Pre or Post of the update, also put 2.0 in there, "download these except your own ofw from Jungle Flasher now (last Tab in JF), then open the tutorial in the document folder, Just afew pages down there is alittle index, you need follow 2 of these guides
1: Flashing Drive to Stock
2: Flashing console..
using this guild you'll have no trouble flashing to stock or 2.0... Just follow the guide and read carefully, skipping a step could be messy

Thanks.

Im going through the JF tutorial again, and im confused at this stage where it says:

NOTE: ALL PHAT LITEON POST DASH UPDATE WILL REQUIRE PMT/PROBE 3 or MRA

Does this apply to me if i already have my key saved?

I dont have any other hardware other than my screwdrivers and sata cable.

Mines a 74850C drive btw

Thanks.

I took the plunge and flashed to stock.

Ran USB update to 13406. (Initially, update failed. I then copied the update.zip onto my thumbdrive and extracted from the thumbdrive directly, and plugged thumbdrive to rear slot instead of front slot).

Flashed to LT-0250-V2.0

Tested working on my Kinect sports season 2 backup.
