What are the benefits of passwording the bios

Are there any other benifits besides locally protecting my Xbox ?
Also is there any way to change my FTP passwords and such ?

Basically what I was hoping to learn is whats really needed to protect my Xbox, no one else in the house will really touch it and there are no kids around to mess with settings, So I guess I'm more worried about access over the web or anything I haven't thought of

to change ftp passwords you will have to either change it in the settings or go into the actual drive using a pc and make changes to the .ini file

if you have a router the xbox likely gets an unroutable ip (cant be seen from the internet). so unless you explicitly forward ports to it youll be fine online. as far as changing ftp pwd, you cant in x3cl atm, though im sure it will be implemented soon. if there is no one to mess with your box at home, id use as few passwords as possible.

yea people cant access your box from the web if al you have is the x3 bios on there. So you shouldnt be worried about security. Even if it was a public ip someone would have to know the exact adresss and the exact pswd.
