Im in australia and i have someone who wants to mod there xbox

This is the info

2004-09-29 : MFG date
2146456 44005 : Serial No
421 2146456 44005 : Product ID

Whats the chances of this being a 1.6b.

If its a 1.6b i really dont want to touch it :p

Any help appreciated

1.6b will have hynix ram (IIRC)
I had probs with a 1.6b until I did this

2.6 lite
flashbios 3.03 onto 1&2
M8plus 16 onto 3&4 using a programmer.

Runs fine!!




So far.

Why dont you want to touch it? I thought this sh*t was sorted now... As long as you get an x3 with flashbios 3.03 you should be fine......

I think my 360 is FUBAR..

When I turn on my 360, it gets to the logo screen, but then it keeps restarting a few seconds into it (it will freeze for a split second, then the Xbox acts like I just turned it on and it goes to the splash screen, then restarts again...).
I left it running for like 30 minutes but it kept doing it. When I take out the hard drive it doesn't boot at all. Not sure what is wrong. I've previously sent it in to Microsoft for the RROD and it came back fine, and I've only played the 360 a few times since then.

It's an old 2007 model--unflashed.

Any ideas? I emailed several Xbox repair shops in my area but none of them have a clue.

If its unflashed and the warranty sticker is still there send it back to microsoft, call them up and tell them this is my problem cause honstly you got me first time i heard of that happening.

Doesn't sound good mate :( hope you saved some money....your probably better off buying an new 1.

I just filled out the repair form on Microsoft for a RROD. Before my Xbox completely screwed up, I was playing Oblivion and it froze and got a RROD the next time I turned it on, so hopefully they'll accept that lol

If not, I may spring for a new one if the Slim 360 comes out at E3..
