What are these DLC downloads?

I have JTAGed XBOX360 21265 FSD 2.0 Dash2.0
And I've noticed that recently a lot DLC donwloads are realesed, a specially for MK9..
What are those downloads used for? and how to use them will be helpful!

DLC is downloaded content for a specific game. They basically add stuff to the game, whether it be a character in a game, a level or some new weapons.
