what bios for version 1.0

i moved my executor 2.6 from an 1.2 0r 1.3 xbox into a v1.0 xbox and i cant get it to work. iuse a xapter3 and all the leds are correct so i presume the connections are okay, is this a bios incompatabilty. the led flashes grenn three times as it trys to boot up then it flashes red and green. the bios i have on the chip is 4983.67. is theer another bios for the v1.0 xbox and how would i install it if i cnat even get the xbox to boot up and can only install by cd or dvd.

Most definately...you need the X3 Bios...current version is 3029. Has a ton more features that you'll like. There really isn't a reason to have the X3 unless you are going to flash the X3 Bios.

just to confirm i need to use the x3 bios on a executor 2.6 chip installed on version 1.0 xbox. how would i do this if o cant even boot up my xbox

I apologize...I looked in the forum you posted in and didn't read your entire post...I thought you flashed you X3 with an X2 bios. The bios you used is fine for a 1.0 Xbox with a 2.6 chip...next time try and post in the correct forum.
