Hi,A couple of years ago, a friend of mine decided to take an attempt at modding his xbox 360 (corona v1). Safe to say it went horribly, leaving most of the pads completely destroyed, but it still booted retail so it lived the next couple of years in his room with little usage. Anyway, a couple of days ago he was clearing out his room and he contacted me asking whether I wanted it, so I took it. Its in a pretty bad state so I don't know what to do with it. Are there any alternative points for the corona v1? Since it still boots retail, that means I could potentially solder directly to the traces instead, right? If so, how would I go about doing that? I posted a picture of the pads bellow Thanks for any help :)

Give it a good cleanup and use a fibre glass scratch pen. Then see what's the damage is.
U may be able to use the points on the underside of the motherboard.

After doing some cleaning up I can clearly see there is quite a bit of damage to the points and the surrounding PCB, which means that the traces are most likely damaged. Unless there are other points that I can solder to, I'm pretty sure that I cant mod it without soldering directly to the traces, which I don't think I have the skills to do.

You can use a demon or progskeet to write to the nand not using the SPI bus. as for the other points(I2C and 5V/3.3v, that is a little bit of a different story.) Chances are it looks worse than it is, but there are multiple places for 5V on the board, and the I2C bus can be reached at the resistors under the header(These were removed on later versions to try and stop hacking.) So long story short, this console looks like it has been through hell, but should still be hackable.
