99% of those issues are caused by bad soldering. most likely the D0 solder point. I would check and see if the 2 leds are on.. on the x3 chip that could tell you what solder point you would need to check. Check the troubleshooting sticky in this forum.

Could be anything, check solder splashes, bridges, or it could be that you weren't grounded when you started handling the MoBo and you could have given it a static electric shock.

right behind you
I haven't found any real evidence of this, but it's really pretty obvious. If you Xbox won't boot at all, you have messed up a trace or bridged two points somewhere.

You need to have the correct SSV2, DMI, and you must include splitvid. Here's a fantastic tutorial on how to do this:

If you have any more questions just let me know. ;)

Re: Noob question, need urgent answer D:

Check them with abgx360, it will tell you. You just have to read through it, lol. If it's SSV1, follow that guide I gave you..

Also you have to add in splitvid yourself, go to the misc tab in abgx, and click "add if it dosn't exsist or isn't valid".

Lol yeah i noticed right after I posted xD thx anyways dude!
Also, I was wondering if u could help me out with this other topic that I posted on te "360 backups" but got no replys..

Greetings readers, thank you all who bothers reading this and investing their time on helping a fellow xbox-modder
My question is: how important is the burning speed when burning a backup?
because, you see
i just made this backup of one of my games, and it went perfectly fine
until i checked the burning log, where it showed that it hadnt been burnt at 2.4x as i set it, but 4x instead
apparently the reason to this is that my burning device does not support a lower burning speed for Dual Layer DVD's
so, will i be still able to play this backup on my modded xbox? if so, will there be any problems, issues, anything? please, this really worries me cause so far i havent tested any backup on my xbox and i really wouldnt like to break it somehow
info: DVD drive/burning device Samsung (i believe) TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C SB02 (E:) (Fibre)
Media: Verbatim DVD+R DL made in singapore, bought @ newegg.com; Disc ID: MKM-001-00
Thanks in advance for your help :D
