hello again,
i am only getting into this scene of flashing,so i recently bought a ck3 lite and probe v3, i will be gtting my 360usbpro soon, so while im waiting on this to arrive i would like to ask, is there anything else i need, i was looking up backing up my games and from what i read its recommended i get a certain kind of liteon drive,is this drive the only option to back up games and if not what else will do?also if i do have to get this drive can i use it on my laptop as i dont have a desktop anymore, every day i seem to find out i need something else, can someone please tell me exactly what i need for the whole thing not just flashing the console,
any help would be great,
thanks in advance!

You need a ihas drive to burn your backups or a cross flash able drive there is a list of supported drives on c4eva site, what you have will be good enough to flash all phat drives but if you wanna do slims you will need a Sputnik probe for mxic boards and a replacement pcb for each winbond unless you attempt kamikaze

Why don't you order an X360USB Pro v2?

It has an integrated 0800 ripping feature (when used with the latest version of XBC).

If you wish to rip your retail discs and burn them with an iHAS, I would suggest an external MOLEX power supply because you will need 12v for eject functions.

what about this, i got this from another site, is this true?
BURNING
To burn these games one of the following Liteon drives will be required:
Liteon iHAS124B
Liteon iHAS224B
Liteon iHAS324B
Liteon iHAS424B
Liteon iHAS524B
Liteon iHAS624B
Any one of these drives will then need to be modified with special firmware being made specifically for them

The X360USB Pro v2 includes an 0800 ripping feature which can be used in conjunction with an XBOX 360 DVD-ROM drive to rip your original discs.

The iHAS is still required, but since you are using a laptop, you need external power (i.e. an external MOLEX power supply or an enclosure).

They said recently LiteON iHAS x24B drives were discontinued. Prices are supposed to raise then so don't wait for long to try to buy yours.
