I have an xbox 360 slim 250gb its a veijle mobo or something, made in 2010 with a 12v 10.83A power supply/brick.. Anyway there is a Xecuter cr3 lite for sale and since i sold my old rgh i want to turn my current one into a rgh/jtag. If i buy the cr3 lite is it an easy install? I have a soldering iron, solder, i can open the xbox and ya.. Would i need any other supplies or tools, and chips? Or can i open it up and put everything where it goes and BAM and fire it up and im done? I want to flash my drive aswell so all help appreciated

It just theres not really any suppliers in irelandnd the cr3 is only €16, and it looks like an easy install(could you clarify if it is or not) and would the chip make a difference? Like once it runs xexmenu im happy
It really depends on if you want to fight with boot times. Also the Cr3-Lite has been discontinued, and 90% of the ones you find are crappy clones that dont perform that well. You will have better results with the slim proto v2, and there is 1 less wire to install.
Its a friend im getting it off he has had it for a while and since i ordered it for him i know its real, but is there any difficult soldering or is it easy 123 steps? Do i need any other chips for the rgh to work? Is the cr3 dualboot?

No it's not like that, is a long process, you can find the guides on this forum.
If you wat to flash the drive and never don it before, just use a TX PCB.It wil be more expensive but 100% succesful.If you want something cheaper use kamikaze/sputnik hack.
If you dont mind slowish glitch times, and unstability, and also know it works. then the cr3-lite will work. The slim proto usually boots in a maximum of 3 cycles, and cr3-lite really depends on how much time you want to spend trying different timing files, and wire lengths. The slim proto is more reliable and is usually easier to set up. No it is not a dual nand(boot) device, so if you would like to keep live you will also want a Demon. If you decide not to get the demon you will need a spi programmer(Nand-X or Jr-programmer)
Sputnik and Kamikazi do not work with all slim drives, just liteon 16d4s. both are messy options, and alexander_1333 is right the TX LTU2 PCB's are easier.

Ok, will i need anything or can i just lash open my xbox and take out the drive and hook it up to my desktop?

You wil need x360 usb pro and a power source(ck3i, ck3rev.d) or x360 usb pro v2(power source built in).For kamikaze hack I use usb microscope and a knife, for sputnik hack I use 10kohm resistor and soldering iron.For the repleacement PCB you dont need the resistor, microscope and the knife, only x360 usb pro and a power source(ck3i, ck3rev.d) or x360 usb pro v2(power source built in).
I dont know, I'm playng only originals on live, backups on RGH.But if you burn your backups with burner max, Im sure you wil not get banned.
The LTU/LTU2 boards require that you RGH to get your DVD keys. It will probably be cheaper to post an ad in the request for service section, as the tools required arent worth the price to do only 1 or 2 xboxes. and most people on here will do key recovery for 10-15$
