GENERAL What do I need?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, However I have been around here for a while researching

. I've recently got myself a flashed Slim which was flashed by a friend, and I'm looking to buy the x360USB pro to flash my other xbox slim, plus my old phat xboxes.

Before I buy it I just want to know if I have what is needed to flash a xbox.

So, I will most probley buy it from ModTraders

And on that page you can add a Molex PSU and CK3 Probe III.

Along with the X360USB pro, is that everything I need to flash a xbox slim and phat?

If you're only flashing a slim drive then you won't need the probe 3. If your mate flashed your drive then ask if he has the Jungleflasher log file as you'll need to know what chip is on the drive board before you go further.

Yh, he gave me JF logs of when he flashed my slim. What would I need to do, to flash one which hasn't been flashed before?

You would need to follow the guides for slim drives as the method varies ( and that's only if it's a liteon drive). For the existing one, paste the output of the JF log here.

your log says you got a winbond chip, and it is flashed at lt 1.92, you need to upgrade to lt max 2.0.

i havent done a winbond chip yet, so someone else has to tell you how to unlock it, once its flashed

i can only tell you what i know about winbond.
when its avirgin drive you have to do the kamikaze trick, you will find in the forums more than enough info about that even an tutorial.
what equipment you need etc,etc..
the only thing i dont know is if its already been flashed how to proceed but for sure its written somewhere, ubergeek has some splendid tuts for that.

you need the usbpro and the ck3i or pro or lite for the powersource.

if he used the kamikaze methode cause you got a winbond chip i believe you need some alcohol to unlock and than flash, but im not 100 % sure, have a look in the tuts there is more than enough info about thet.
