LITEON DG-16D2S What equipemt do I need?

I am looking to flash my Xbox 360 Phat Philips Lite-On DG-16D2S 93450C drive using a laptop, but i am not to sure what i need to buy, I live in the UK by the way.

I have found this bundle and im wondering would this get the job done and is everything included that i will need, like leads, power supplys and so on, or have i got to buy any seperate things.

Has everything you need except I'm not sure if the XT adapter comes with the molex cable to power the ck3i. You could always buy it locally at a pc shop if it doesn't

the xt adapter comes with it but im not sure about the molex cable, i think i have already got one of them.
What is a molex external power supply adapter, do i need one of them?, i was wondering aswell could i just power the drive with my old xbox thats got the RROD

a external molex would be 1 that plugs into a wall outlet. You don't need that. Don't power your drive with a xbox. That's what the ck3i is for.

The XT adaptor does come with a Molex cable.

Just plug the XT Adaptor into your PSU and the supplied Molex cable into the XT adaptor and CK3i. Works absolutely fine as a power source for 360 drives (I use it on my 0800 ripping drive).

I bought that bundle a while back and it didn't come with the molex psu i had to buy that separately but they might have changed that......works like a charm flashed my lite-on with the tutorial on this site and had no problems....make sure you get a ihas b version burner if you want to play xgd3 backups.
