What firmware do I use?

I was reading the excellent tut by TextBook and it said I have to download the extreme52.rar file on Xbinz. But I cant seem to find it anywhere. I have a samsung MS-28 Drive in my xbox and have done everything up to this part.

Can anyone tell me which firmware I need:

Samsung SH-D162C or

Samsung SH-D163A

And what icon do I load when I download them? They seem to just have loads of .rar files. Thanks in advance guys.

.rar files are in winrar archive format.

And thos 2 samsung drives you posted are for the pc not the xbox 360.

You want the firmware for the TS-H943

They are for the PC? Why are they in the 360 Hacked firmware folder then? I cant seem to find the TS-H943 firmware.

Ah, got it now.

Now all I have to do is find out if my SATA is VIA compatible, does anybody know how to do this??? Thanks! Sorry for being such a Noob!

what dvd rom do you have brand name? then read a guide on your type

my hitachi i just plugged my hard drive sata cord and used slax to boot it.

Yea I figured everything out now, its all good. I bought a PCI SATA VIA controller for my PC and I will flash it with that. Ill let you know how I got on!!!
