what good is more than 1 bios?

so i dont get it, what is the good of being able to load more than 1 bios on to my new x3 chip?.... like should i load a different bios to my back up than the one i loaded (from xbins for the x3)?.... and what other bio's is out there to load on all these other banks?... i have been reading and reading and i dont see what good will come of all the work it took to get this silly thing working. im sure im just missing the point for say. but what is it?....

A lot of people run a backup bios just in case.

You don't need it. If it doesn't make sense to you, then you probably will never need it.

One bios is all that will ever be required. Some people just like their options..

Since the 2913 bios still has some bugs, I just keep the 1959 on the second bank.

better to have a backup than be sorry but then it's an X3 and not X2.x.

I've very, but realy carefull, so i keep the 1959, and flashed the new one in the second bank, some people had problems with the skins, if they have done like me they could revert to 1959, change de skin wkth no problem.

this could be completely wrong, i'm a noob, but wouldn't one use a different bios for xbox linux? so that would be a reason for two bios's, one for linux and one for x3 if that's right.
