I flashed my x3 using the gold bios and it worked fine. I couldnt get the flash to work with the newest bios, thats why i used gold. So i flashed it worked fine then couldnt get it to connect by my pc so i turned x3 live config auto connect off, so now ever time i boot up it goes to the xbox screen and not the bios screen. how can i change this so i can install my dashboard.......

i flashed it as on on off off can i maybe flash the same bios to a diffrent bank and get it to work correctly

Hello all, iv been trying to back up some of my bought games (only recently flashed to 1.6) and come to a roadblock. when ever i try and use xbc (v2.9.0306) i can see my drive, i can click unlock disk (gives me correct filesize >6gb) and i can see the start button on the main page. What happens is when i click start and where to save the dump it will read the ss pfi dmi but when it gets to "Reading volume descriptor" the program hangs.
Program is left at defaults except splitvid is on and the read speed is at 8x instead of 12X
I have tried 5.2 and 5.6 via drivers with and without portio drivers and i get up to the same result. i have backed up 1 game successfully Dead Rising but for the life of me i dont know how i did it.
I am running Win XP Sp2, via 6241 pci card 5.2 drivers samsung ms28 with ixtreme 1.6
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im running out of ideas tried spti & aspi with via 5.20a with no luck. Even tried unlocking disk (in xbc) then using imgburn & poweriso to try and read the unlocked disc. imgburn stalls at 2% (@ 250mb dump) but poweriso stops at 18% (@ 450mb dump prolly the video layer).
Pulling my hair out, can someone PLEASE HELP??

ok so i flashed ix 1.6 0800 fw so i didnt have to do the half closed to get to vendor mode. still no joy. xbc still hangs when trying to read xdvdfs. the game im trying to backup is battlestations midway so its not a recent game. disk isnt scratched.
i dont know what im doing wrong. the help so far has been tremendous :? please help me all you experts you were once noobs too 8)
