Well...
I would have thought a more constructive reply from Xecuter Team, but seems this is their way.

I thought it was fairly constructive in that it pointed out the serious flaws in Daddio's arguments - that being that Xecuter constantly hypes vaporware and never releases what is promised.

Let's face it: Daddio's complaints were ridiculous and didn't even merit serious consideration. He's a twat and a shill for a certain other team, and not worth anyone's time.

The rest was Xecuter having fun, but that's fine by me.

When Xecuter announces a product is available is the only thing you can believe becausse every thing else is pure b/s. They announce vaporware and vaporproducts to keep you buying any other products. And if you call them on their statements you get flamed and cursed at by Xecuter and their butt kissers. Be happy that any modchip will work, figure out how to play LIVE, and forget the rest of the junk.

Now let's wait for the flames and butt kisser responses becaise they think they rule the XBOX world.

Yes i understand your point Ivank.
The beginning of Xecuters reply was constructive.

The polite beginning would have been a great strengt of the reply, but the end just destroyed the politeness to the reply. Instead just feading more flaming.

Second as long as they bothered replying to the thread, why not contributing also something which would actully have anything to do with the original topic.

Well the main point is that ppl like to get feedback to the "Original Topic" from the Xecuter Team.

Yes, he could have addressed the Xt3nd3r, but he's already stated that once his current list of items are taken care of, then he will look at his other projects.

By my mind he's already addressed the issue, albeit indirectly. No Xt3nd3r until the control panels and bioses are complete. So be patient people!

Now theres quality!!! f**k off with those cheap ass sh*t side panels that make your case look like some 2 year old built it and pull out a brand new case! Thats the Xecuter way!
Taking that previous post to the final step and reaching the "INVENT" stage!

i think that Daddio's statments are just off base. Xecuter doesnt promote vaporware/vaporproducts - they just dont work on the timeframe that HE thinks that they should. that is his real issue. (well one of them at least)

Personally, i'm not the most patient person in the world either, but me coming on the forum and cursing the development team up and down is going to do zero good, so what is the point really?

Let Team Xecuter do their thing. their projects will get done when they get done... and they will more than likely be even more than what you had originally expected. at least that is the way they normally work. (and i have only been around the Xecuter family for a very short time.)

anyway - keep up the good work and keep us posted with what is going on. love all the pictures :D

That's cool. I didn't know what to call it in a succint fashion that says 1. it's like the Xtender in that you can have multiple hard drives, but 2. it's most definitely an Xecuter product. That shorthand popped to mind.

And that dear friends is why I stay out of marketing. :)

sh*t. I'm a programmer. I write applications, and then I support/bugfix those apps while I write new apps. Plus I go to a HELL of a lot of meetings, attend design reviews, etc. I know how deadlines can slide, especially when you're saddled with support tasks or administrative tasks or whenever your priorities are reset due to someone jumping up and down or farting more loudly than the next guy.

So I understand how schedules might slide a bit, and since there were no firm dates, how can I hold someone to a calendar day that's largely a figment of my imagination?

BTW: Anyone getting out of school now with a CS degree.... good luck.

Ditto on programming ... but before too long you get noticed because, not only can you program, but you can schedule. Then not only can you schedule, but you can break tasks down and manage other people doing that ... and before too long you are no longer doing what you love, but managing other people doing what you love :(

But, as an upside, you DO learn that dates are part of what drives a schedule. Without target dates how do you know a.) what the milestones you will need to achieve (and when) to make that date, b.) if the resources allocation is realistic to meet a.), and c.) ultimately if the target can be met.

Scheduling is a bitch - its better to keep your mouth shut, underpromise and overdeliver.

True. TeamX probably has some sort of schedule but they haven't released it to us (nor would/should they), so any dates where we think things should be done are largely our own imagination.

And yes, I know about managing the expectations of the client. I used to work as a consultant before my current position, and a lot of what firms sell is very different from what the programming grunts deliver, but that's another discussion.

You're absolutely right - keep your mouth shut, underpromise and overdeliver.

wtf well we all know its not called the "xt3nd3r" besides that guy but i really thought it was an add-on. I didn't know it was a new case. Can you by any chance give us an idea of what type of case? Because now im not sure if i want to get the x3cp if you are coming out with your own case. Is it more pc style or is it a smal case like the xbox?

I agree with NeOnRaBbIt.
I have understood that it would be a lowcost HD swich add on. If I remember right that is how it has been represented by Xecuter Team before.

Anyway, I have planned to buy the hd switch same time as Xecuter mod. Now if it comes to be a separated casing well would not necessary be interested on the swich anymore.

I wish Xecuter Tream to give some more accurate info.

They aren't connect to anything, they are just hanging off of the mother board. I got half way through jtag'ing my xbox and quit.

you can just clip the wires and plug in to the only two holes in the PCB?
