I happily had atmosphere on my switch. I decided to buy a sx os code simply for usb hdd loading; my fingernails can't open the gamecart easily and I want ease of use without needing a computer.

Turns out that the latest beta sx os does not have external hdd loading. I tried to downgrade but could not get it to work. To add insult to injury I cannot install any game using sxinstaller and had to instead switch to tinfoil just to work on sx os.

So unfortunately I am out $30 for a percieved ease of use that did not deliver. To be honest I am just going to switch back to retail, get a plastic game cart holder and stay online. Thank you team xecuter.

XCI mounting isn't broken, it still works fine. You must have used the wrong format. The hard drive needs to be FAT32 or exFAT. If you don't have the exFAT driver it will not read exFAT either. Not sure what problem you had with SX installer but we can provide support for that too with more info.

DERP da derp, starring me. I kept using ntfs. Reading my post appears much bitchier than I was trying to be. The good thing about always having sx os code is that I won't have to wait long when nintendo updates their firmware to get cfw, not as long as atmosphere.
Glad you've got it figured out! Any other issues you may have, we'll be happy to help with.
