JTAG What have I done

Ok so first I've never done a jtag, I've got a few consoles that can be done but I don't like doing the software stuff, so when I see xell nand etc I get lost.
So I've got a zephyr that's been reballed, it's working ok, I put xexmenu on a hdd and can play games ok, only thing is it's on dash 8955, so I want to put it to 12611, I did it on a xenon jtag I had several months back but totally forgot what to do.
I have no nand or anything, the wires (smc)? are on the original spots, after trying several things I find easy freeboot to be the easiest thing, I keep getting an error with the latest version so get an earlier one, this seemed to work and made a freeboot.bin, I renamed it updflash, put it on a usb stick and started the 360 with the eject button and xellous starts to update, it finishes and says to reboot.
Now I'm in the sh*te, it starts with the fans very fast and E79, I can start with the eject button but noticed it seems to have gone from xellous to xell.
Now I seem to have a nand, a freeboot and the updflash, all the same size, are they the same thing?
So can anyone help a numpty get it working again, or should I sell it to one of you guys and move on?

You say you have no files but then say you have a NAND, freeboot and updflash. Where did the NAND file come from? If the NAND is a dump from the 8955 dash i would get your CPU key from Xell and then run the NAND file through Coolshrimps Jtag Tool and allow it to create a 12625 freeboot. I'm assuming you have a NAND-X? If so just flash the new 12625 freeboot using the NAND-X.

The programmes made them, flash360 made one but it said it had errors in blocks 88 and AB sectors 210. Also jtag tool and efb, but I'm a bit lost which one is from where.
I've used jtag tool and made one from the one that said bad blocks and one that jtag tool downloaded, but not tried to install yet, also tried to remap bad blocks with jtag tool but when I open 360 flash tool and put my nand in it doesn't show any bad blocks.
If NAND-X is the tool to jtag then no I haven't, I'm flashing by using a usb stick.

Be aware that when using Coolshrimp's tool, the default eject for an HDMI console can go to XeLL and not Xellous. You need to change it to Xellous (TBH HDMI XeLL is pointless).

Zephyr's work far better with the AUD_CLAMP wiring. AFAIK, you'll need to use Coolshrimp's JTAG tool v2.76 for a Zephyr console as you'll get E79 with v3.00 even with 12611 selected.

ok I can move the wiring later, I want to get it working first, do I make the nand then change the wiring.
I've just got jtag tool 2.76, it kept failing with the nand I had from flash360, I did a repaired nand with jtag tool 3.00 and this worked, so now I have a nand with 12611, how do I flash this? Can I call it updflash and put it on a usb stick.

Xell doesn't work with updflash so you're better to either reflash XeLLous (if you're only on LPT) or flash it back completely using USB.

Lost me now, 2.76 doesn't have the option for xell/xellous,
and is lpt the printer port, how do I use that or usb? I don't have nand-x.
I can flash xellous with my usb stick, then could I flash the updflash.

Is nand/updflash/freeboot the same thing?

ok I just read that if I rename updslot0 that I used to go from xell to xellous via xexmenu and flash360, to updxell then I can update to xellous via xell with updxell on a usb stick,
Can someone confirm this'll work, don't want to make things worse now.

I read on 2 sites it works, so just tried it and it didn't, it seen it went to update but then said unknown file.

edit just checked and it's the other file 1f I have to use doh

edit 2 failed again says unknown hackimage version.
