Hi guys! I've been searching and asking a lot of buying a pre-programmed coolrunner with glitch img for whatever motherboard you have, or want. Well, at the end a lot of different answers, one saying that you will still need the NAND-X and other that you are ready to install it and nothing else is necessary.
What are we saving by buying this "ready to install" chip , if we still need the NAND-X ot DYI LPT cable ?
I may miss the main part of RGH process, so please excuse my NOOB status at the moment.
Thanks in advance for your help !

The CoolRunner needs programming with the relevant timing file-set in order for your console to glitch.

If I was ever sold a pre-programmed CoolRunner, I would still take the time to re-program it myself, it only takes a few seconds.

for rgh process TO READ THE NAND you are going to still need the nand x anyway,so there is no point actually far as I know.just buy a blank one, modtraders and other retailers sell them as blank development board, you can program them with nand x and get cooking

edit:rdubbs007 is right but I suggest you go ahead and buy that cable also because the next time you need to program a CR you will need that, one time investment for such valuable cable is important

You could purchase it pre-programmed but, it is very easy to build a lpt programmer and program the chip yourself. TBH if you don't have the skills to build an LPT programmer you probably shouldn't be soldering to the xbox motherboard either. Or if money is not an issue just purchase the proper TX tools for programming the chip.

Using a nand-x is easier than using a LPT cable and it is well worth the investment especially if you may be glitching more consoles in the future

If you own a NAND-X, it makes perfect sense to use the CoolRunner programming cable.

Why order something you don't need when you can utilise devices you already have :).
