what the best dashboards for x3?

i also use unleash x and dvd2xbox for ripping to hdd...mamox for emulating arcade games

xbox 1.6
unleash x
x3 chip
lcd screen and proswitch
200 gig hdd

evoX is old and outdated!! not many options!!!

newer dash's like unleashX, like lil'miss said have more options to them, and have things that evoX doesn't!

Now I use Avalaunch! and PERSONALLY i think its the best dash to use!!! all kinds of options and extras!!!

but to each their own.......

Normally when you download the dash usually they will come with a readme or a .nfo file you can open in notepad that will cover the install

Do you need a dash to copy games to the hard drive. im putting a new dvd rom drive and flash with cd-rw or dvd-rw.

No not really the X3 Bios Can Copy A Game from what I read
I have never tried it
But you do need a dash to play the ripped game

well Lil'miss....you sold me!!! i see u all over these boards talkin about unleashX.....
i was dead-set that Avalaunch was the best there is.....but i decided to switch to unleashX last night to check it out, see what the hype was about.....

fired it up, messed around w/ it...and I LOVE IT...... after about 10 minutes of playing around w/ the options, i rebooted into Config Live, and set it to boot straight to unleashX!!!!

you don't do it via http, you need to ftp into your xbox. do it at the config live screen. use the ip address of your xbox and user and password are both x3
