what the hell is going on?

i have just installed my x3 chip. everything went well. turn on my xbox and the blue flashbios screen pops up. i tried to load it through a disc. put in the disc and it appears everything went well also. xbox turns off like it should. but when i turn it back on the same blue screen comes up like i hadnt done anything. can anyone help me with this? im kind of a noob so maybe im doing something wrong. please help. thanks

1. Make sure your BIOS protect is OFF.
2. Try and remake the disc but add some padding (there is a tutorial on this)
3. Try HTML flashing (search for this one is how I did mone and was a breeze)

make sure you have your dips set correctly.
if you flashed a 1mb bios try on on off off.

i made a 150mb dummy file. still does the same thing. i dont kno wat is wrong. maybe im forgetting a step in making the cd. any help is much appreciated. thanks!

What bios are you flashing with? If you are using a version of 3.0.1 or 3.0.3... then you are doing it correctly. It comes to the same screen because you flashed over a bios with the same bios.

Try finding and using the x3 bios v1959.

i think the blue screen means i was using 3.03 rite? thats wat it said at the top. i tried to to load bios via disc with evox on it. it seemed like it flashed alrite. it shut down like it suppose to. but it frags when i try to turn it back on. wats wrong?

Just wondering what the dips are and is it okay to put a dummy file on a cd even though the bios file is supposed to be 1 mg?
