Hey. I'm not new to this but I have a question. A year a go I installed a X3 and rebuilt the LPC (old skool). Anyway, a friend of mine has a box he wants to me mod. It's a v1.3 so I ordered him a 2.6ce Lite Plus (with solderless adapter). I didn't want to solder anything to his board 'cause I don't want to get him a new box if I mess up. Let me tell you......this is the craziest solderless adapter I've seen. Anybody have any experience with this thing? I'm guessing that 'cause I have a v1.3 that I can clip those gold leads marked LAD0, LAD2, LAD3 and LFRAME. I remember those were the points I had to relocate when I rebuilt the LPC for my v1.6. Can any one confirm my belief? I attached a pic of the adapter.

Correction. I can't seem to attach this pic right now 'cause this site only allows a file size of 19K. I'm gonna see if I can get an off site server to serve it.

That adaptor is for a 1.6 board, not a 1.3 You could still use it, you will just have to tape up those legs. I would either just solder it though. You've done it once before, it only gets easier.

actually you dont have to tape or clip the legs. that white board comes loose from the base ( i bought the same setup from divineo and had a hellava time getting it to work). but anyway, if you work the white board back and forth easily it should come right loose, after that installation is a snap.

Cool, an even better solution.
