I know most are gonna suggest J-Runner but I have a ? before trying..At the moment I've been using multibuilder but it's not allowing me to do what I want.

What I'm trying to do is use a phat liteon in a slim console but no matter what I try I get the xbox360 splash screen. I've seen several posts about it being multibuilder and I'm just wondering if there is any program you guys would recommend me using to build my nand file so I could use a phat drive in my slim consoles.

I know my key is right as I've double checked it many times.

This isn't my field of expertise, but is might just be slims which you need either a kamakazie hack or unlocked PCB.

What version is the drive.

No everything went fine in multibuilder as always :)

Not sure what's going on, I just assume it's the way multibuilder is building my nand to be honest..Going from what I've seen on forums here anyway

I had the same problem with a clients box that didn't want to spend the cash on a new drive. For me I just built the image several times and it finally worked. TBH I would just spend the 30 or 40 bucks and buy the correct drive. The money you save is so not worth the time in my opinion.

Well that's the problem I have a lot of customers that would rather save $30 by me putting in a phat liteon..With 40 units on hand I'd like to get 10 ready with phat liteons ready to go.

In the long run I"ll not only give my customers a choice to save a buck but I'll make the extra buck with phat drives being installed instead..

You are right though if it was me I'd rather have a legit drive in it :)

I totally understand. I have a pile of benq drives and you always give the customer a choice but for me the time I save makes me more than the few extra I make off hardware,

Alright next ? LOL

Everything works fine but I don't like the fact that the drive doesn't look nice...I was sure I seen somewhere that you can just swap tray's but something seems to be stopping my slim try from going all the way in..I can give it a little nudge and it'll lock into place but I don't like that either. I've been trying to look for the tutorial I seen but can't seem to find it, and trying to examine the drives at why/where it's getting caught but can't seem to find that either..

Am I suppose to shave something on the slim tray for it to fully close in the phat lite-on?
Does someone have a link to a diagram or anything..Finally figured this out and get stuck at a simple problem like this hahahahah
