Agree. This has been covered in numerous threads but for what it's worth, I use 60/40 rosin core solder either 1mm for general modding or thinner for smd work. I also use insat super flux but some ppl swear by kingbo flux. Can't have enough flux :)

I use Kester SN63PB37 63/37 0.15 & it works well for all xbox related stuff.

hi guys im back , i have done some googling for Kingbo Fux and insat super flux ............. ive come up with a Authorized dealer for Kingbo Flux on ebay ' XModdz ' also i checked Kingbo Flux for Authorized sellers and they popped up

ive also chosen Multicore Solder Wire 60/40 1MM Rosin Core from element14

im pretty stoked with the help and what has been recommended

Did you google this question?

i use google a lot but in this case i havent because i wanted to talk to a Pro community of people who have had successful installs , i didnt want to google and find some random site where i couldnt trust what im reading

also this is a big deal for me and its something where poor soldering supplies incorrect flashing settings in JRunner etc...........can result in a bricked console , i want to get this project right i hope you understand where im coming from oO Elite Oo
