I have seen them for less than $100, but $115 is about normal. Do you have access to a Costco, BJ's, or Sam's club? They sometimes have a good deal on those drives there as well. My Maxtor at the same spec as the WD drive was $109 at Fry's 5 months ago. You might want to check outpost.com - for some reason, they seem to get good prices on HDDs. Also, ring around your local computer stores - they might have a "brown box"/OEM drive that they install in PCs they build for a good price. No fancy packaging, just an anti static bag, but sometimes a way to get a good deal.

ah TokenUser im going to have to travel to Indianapolis to a sam's club, and all that stuff.. and i might try best buy too.. 250gig for 99$ man thats a good deal.. i live in a city but we dont offer any of those special electroic stores like capital citys does... hehe
