Just out of curiosty, and to save myself from a 1.6 install what would be a good MFG date to look for thats pre 1.6?

Well its a 2003 August xbox, and its a 1.4, but I opened up the xbox, and saw the dreaded thomson, I cryed for 10 minutes, O well time to mod.
Those are nice to mod to bad it has a Thomson. My version 1.0 has that sh*t as drive and it even has issue with reading orginals.halomaster7777 said:

Hey! Whats wrong with 1.0's!
I find em so friggen easy to mod. The only difficult part is trying to remove the solder from the LPC, which is easy as cake. I'd still rather not toying with any extra wiring or whatnot plus making sure I'm using a 1.6 BIOS
