I recently came across an xbox 360 phat edition(with the latest dash) pretty cheap and i would like to RGH it but before i get into it i want to know some of the capabilities of it after its done and any advice on tools and processes. I read up on some things like options on a banned console but they were old so any new news on that would be appreciated.

Start by identifying the motherboard type and dashboard. Then read Martin C's Roadmap for Newbies. You can also google fsd3 for more insight on what an RGH console is capable of.
