What's my next step to obtain CPU Key?

The easiest way to go about this is to give you my chronological process to see if I can still get the key or not. Firstly, I'm attempting to RGH a slim Corona mother board V2. I was able to read, create, and write ECC using the Corona 4GB Nand R/W kit. Afterwards I installed the the Slim Proto V2 and attempted to boot Xell in order to get the Cpu key.

Here's where I'm unsure of where to go. I've read that Xell does not always show up on the screen, and I've also read that if the green light flashes on the Slim Proto V2, that means that it is glitching. For the simple fact that I am in experienced, I decided to try to do another nand dump and and when I did, I kept on getting this same message

and I decided at the same time to try to create ECC again because.....well because I for some reason thought it might be a problem with that file. but anyways, this is what I got when I tried to do that...

So my question again is, where do I go from here? I'm not sure if I messed anything up or not when I tried to re-read the nand because I also deleted the files that produced the ECC in the first place. However, I still have the ECC that was created. I don't know if any of this info makes a difference or not, but there it is.
P.S. attached are photos of my soldering for review.

when you read the nand in the beginning did you save it anywhere because you should have. once you have written the ecc you cant expect to read the nand again and get a clean nand dump, it will say header is wrong and all that. you can make a new retail image from the ecc by using the extracted files so don't delete it or erase your nand yet. did the slim even glitch at all when you boot console with the eject button to obtain cpu key. and xell should show on screen regardless.

you should have saved you nandump1.bin and nanddump2.bin to a new folder on your computer before ever attempting to write the ecc, when you reread the nand after you wrote ecc you overwrote the existing original nand dumps with your ecc

The first nand files from the very first dump were deleted when I did a second read after the ECC was created and I still have the original ECC file. When I booted it up the first time I used the power button. I'll try the eject instead and I'll see what happens. (fingers crossed that, that's the issue)

The devil is always in the details I'm afraid. So do I unplug the R/W kit before I boot the system or just switch the mode from R/W to XBOX?

Well alright. I just hit the eject button and all I got was a *ping.* The system did not start up.

Did it "try" to boot?

Did the fan spin up?

Was the green led on the ROL on?

Did the green DBG LED on the Proto flash (indicating an attempt at glitching)?

No, it didn't attempt to boot. There was no fan spin, just a *ping.* However, before I tried the eject button method, I used the regular power button and I did get a fan spin and the flashing green light. But no Xell screen as I mentioned above. Again, I've read that just because it doesn't show, does not necessarily mean it didn't boot. So where does this leave me? And thanks everyone so far.

Remove the ribbon cable from the R/W QSB, remove the power cord for a few seconds and try again. If it still doesn't power on then you've damaged the NAND points and will need them repaired.

well first off you need to get the console to come on try the power button again and if it glitches count the number of glitch cycles until the green light stops flashing then if it does not show on screen you need to plug in you ethernet cable or wifi module and go to your routers homepage and look under wireless devices and find your xbox 360 if it is booted it will be there. note what the ip address is for that device and input that into jrunner (bottom right hand corner) and press get cpu key..

I did what you said, and it looks like it glitches about seven times before it turns off. I used both the power and eject button, the system started up with the fan spinning low and then the fan speed picked up. It sounded promising, but unfortunately I still didn't get anything on my screen. I plugged an Ethernet cable into the system and then into my router as suggested also but again, when I looked at my DHCP Client List the only thing I can see is my PC's IP Address. Just to make sure I have the connection of this right (I wanna make sure I cover every angle here), I have my router into my modem, my PC into my router, and my system plugged into my router. I'm pretty sure that should be it for the system to show up on my client list. Hmmmm.....

p.s. Oh I don't know if this might be an issue with the Ethernet method or not, but I've been having trouble with the system I do use for online gaming obtaining an IP address and connecting to live. It will connect to the network but it won't have an IP to connect to the internet. I had the cable co. come over to upgrade my modem and now it's another problem I have to deal with.Although that's through a wireless connection. Anyways, I just figured the more info the better.

So I tried something interesting just to see what would happen. I plugged the system directly into my pc and on the network and sharing center page, when I turn on the system, it attempts to identify the system sporadically so it seems like something is happening when I boot the system. Maybe because it's so sporadic, that's the reason I can't get it to connect long enough to the router for me to get an IP address before it shuts off. Or should that not matter?

P.S. Is the green light (on the system) supposed to turn red when the fan spins faster and then shut off by itself?

no you have the rdod same as rrod but its probably cpu_rst or stby_clk point ripped or any number of hardware missing from the board. i think its software really but im not sure, we need to see your j runner logs from when you 1st read the nand and when you created and wrote the ecc

im pretty sure he has a v2 because of the 4 gb nand r/w kit is the newer version but i didn't see the resistors there but its still a good idea to go ahead and check for post out

speaking of post out it looks like there may may be a bridge on the post points on the post qsb v3 at the quick solder points
3 & 5 i believe
