Just wondering...
1) Is it safe to go on xbox live with a flashed drive? I don't give a crap about getting banned, but game updates etc. are necessary.

And also, I have a 16D4S-0225. I have the PCB replacement and have had it previously flashed. It was un-flashed when downloading a kinect update thing.
2) Will this mean it cant be flashed again?

My guess is that I would only need these two to flash it:

3) Is there anything else?

4) I have the latest xbox updates, will this mean it can't be flashed for a while?

Sorry it's a really bad layout, would really be interested in doing this.

1. Its not guranteed to be safe, ever. Game updates can easily be downloaded from http://www.xbuc.net/

2. You can reflash the replacement board as many times as you want.

3. You can use one or the other.

4. The drive can be flashed to LT3 regardless of Firmware on the console just unlock it and flash.

In regards to question 3, it says that one requires the other? And thanks for the quick reply

Get an X360USB PRO 2. Does the job of both items you listed and has some nice extra features.

Am getting an x360usb pro. Thanks for the help.
But just wondering, will I just need to plug it in to USB for both the power and the drive?

No the power will a molex cable. If you have a desktop there should be an extra cable in the computer. If not then you can get a wall molex cable online. The 360 usb pro goes into the usb and just transfers the data. You will have to download the drivers for the 360usb. Just do a quick google search or search here to find drivers.

Aaaah ok, so long as the usb lead is long enough.
