Stay tuned.

I’m personally thinking switch hacking scene will follow vita steps, so I don’t expect much.

the hacking scene for the vita has can fill circle as you can downgrade your vita to any firmware now and games now don't have a firmware requirement. and with psp hack u can have emulators etc

and the switch is a portable nvidia shield tv, little less powerful and shield tv has emulators up to gc/wii/ dreamcast and has the compute power to do more things so i would say its not finish just yet

Just think the switch is the dream retro portable console u you wish u had when you watched those DIY portable consoles videos

UPDATE: just thought i share something i just saw someone is trying to build an android dist for the switch so it would be a android tablet

Retroarch has run just about everything now at full speed. N64 and PSX included. Some games still have some stutter, but overall running very well. There is also already a light weight Linux distro for the Switch. The Switch will for sure outlast the Vita in all aspecs.

As for the performance, the Switch out of the box is actually under clocked. Retroarch can now be "over clocked" up to 1.78GHz or even under clocked more than stock.
