What to do after you do the last step in J-runner?
I know there are a lot of guides on all this, but its not clear how much of the "next steps" have already been done by J-runner.

I know there is a similar post in the J-runner area, but I can't post there.

Here is what was responded there....

Re: What need to be done after the last phase.
Install and configure DashLaunch 2.32 if you haven't done so already, then you can proceed to configure FSD to your liking.

I think I have everything working, it does everything I ask it to, but I have these questions:

1.
I checked Dashlaunch patches and edited the launch.ini, didn't this do the above step saying install and configure dash launch?

2.
I found a FSD.zip file and extracted it to the root of a USB device so I had a folder usb:\fsd\ and in it I also copied the launch.ini file i created to the root fo this device.
I have seen and read about FSD Installation disks, was there more to installing FSD that I missed, or did J-runner already do this for me.

2B.
Are the settings in Launch.ini were installed when the Nand was created and written during the final steps in J-runner? or are they only read in from the launch.ini file on boot.

Is there a way to confirm what launch.ini settings are active from FSD? or XEX?

3.
Later I also added a line in the launch.ini for to boot XEXmenu while holding a specific button.
This also works, however I can't see any reason I would use this over FSD, Is there something I am missing or is XEX just a "older product"?

Pretty sure jrunner only does something with Dashlaunch, and I think that is only create a launch.ini file (could very well be wrong, but thats all it seemed to do for me).

So if you haven't installed another dashboard you're still booting to M$ original dash.

you can use the fsd installer to put fsd on any save device you want, check teamfsd.com for the installer and how to use it.

Ok since the general response was to run FSD installer, I did it.

It is not apparent to me that anything is different then when J-runner installed Dashlaunch and I copied a FSD folder and Launch.ini to the root.

Perhaps it does something else in the background.
