I have just downloaded evoX and I am going to burn it to disc and use it as my dashboard. Now it looks quite hard to do by disc but heck, Ill give it a try (networking my xbox to PC just seems far to complex as I network them wirelessly through a router to go on live).
My question is, when I was downloading the evoX I noticed there was files called "auto installers" what the hell are these?????? are they dashboards???? If so would it be easier for me to use one of those instead???
Thanks in advance

An autoinstaller will do everthing for you. Wack it in and your good to go. By the way if you want to create a normal boot Cd with EVOX, you will still need to connect to your xbox to FTP the files over. Sorry for the bad new there. The Autoinstaller may be your better option, if you don't want to FTP.

Once you get your FTP connection working though, you won't regret it. That's one of the best parts of an X3, being able to log into your xbox and do whatever you want!

Cheers dude!

The only problem with FTP for me right now is that I havent upgraded my hard drive and I really cant afford it right now, so everything I will be doing will be running off of discs.
I dont know if its possible to connect to my pc wirelessly using a router do you???

a modded xbox with out a working FTP is like a car without tires.

It really adds a new dimension of usability with FTP. By far the only feature that is of any use with a mod chip besides the running of unsigned code. :)
