I recently installed my X3 in my system with no problems and have been playing games for several weeks now. I have burnt several games onto my DVD discs and the games booted up fine and allowed me to play them. All of a sudden last night when I tried to play my burnt games they would boot up fine for about a few seconds then it would give me the "damaged or dirty disc" error. I don't understand why because I have been playing these games many times before and now they won't work. Every burnt game I have gives me this error, DVD-r, DVD+r, different brands...all my burnt games. But when I put in my original games, they work perfectly. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? Please help!

I already checked to make sure that all the DVD's that I use are compatible. It is also a little hard to stop being a pirate when I am not one in the first place. All the DVD's that I copied are backups from the original games that I already own (except for the one my friend gave me of his game)....I just don't like using my original discs that is why I made copies. But for some reason all the copied discs do not work anymore. Does anyone else have any helpful info about why?

The DVDS obviously arent compatible with your DVD drive. Try another brand. I suggest Ritek. It shouldnt have anothing to do with your chip or soldering.
