Installing the X3 takes less than 30 min if you are carefull.

Took me 4 hours to install the chip on my PS2...
I think that the install of the X3 is really easy. The solderless version isn't really needed.

solderless might not be usefull for you, but it does not mean its not needed, i for one can solder well, but just incase i wanted to sell my xbox, i want the option to remove the mod chip whithout going through all the desoldering

First Are you in the business of xbox selling? If you just want to sell one xbox desoldering wouldn't be that much of a chore. Plus why even put a chip in it if your planning to sell it?

Second just leave the chip in. You'd be surprised how much more people will pay for a modded xbox.




And to Cebert, stop asking when the solderless adapter will be out. If teamX wanted you to know they would have it posted. And if your not confident about your soldering skills then you'll have to rely on your patience. Sorry buddy.

I like the idea of the solderless connection, but I've found so far that it's not a perfect fix, Any more mods I do will all be soldered from now on. Anyway, lpc's are cheap!
