Hi guys, i'm a noob to jtag and my english is not very good, so please I need some help on this. I have a falcon jtaggable and I just ordered a nand-x. 'cause I can't solder i'll bring the board to a guy who can do it (the soldering part) but have no clues about xboxs (so I'll do the software part).
What I want to know is:
1) Can I let him solder everything BEFORE starting to read the nand? I mean, can he solder the "jtag" alternate points too (aud clamp and tray, I'll use the alternate points 'cause I read they are a better choice for a non-xenon board)? Or I HAVE to do that AFTER reading the nand (so, just soldering the "nand parts")? He's not near my home so that means i'll have to do 2 trips and if I can avoid that it would be very nice.
2) When should I bridge the r6t3? AFTER writing the final nand (fb)? Can I bridge it just after soldering "jtag points", BEFORE reading the original nand for the first time?
So basically can I do ALL the soldering BEFORE even connect the xbox to pc for the first time?
z) This is less important at the moment, but if you read until here... I read in "manuals" tutorials that you read your kv from nand, inject them in xell then write xell to your nand. Then if you want you write xellus too to your nand. If I use jtag tool, when I click "write xell" it will automatically inject the kv? And if I want xellous instead, I need to write xell first then xellous? Or I can just click on "write xellous" ?
