When To Upgrade Dashboard?

Console Type: Jasper 256mb v1
Dashboard version: 2.0.15574.0

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to receiving my RJTAG kit tomorrow and modding my phat Jasper 256mb v1 this weekend. It will be my first time modding a xbox.

It is currently on 2.0.15574.0 dash, which is the minimum setting for a RJTAG. I was wondering if I should upgrade it to 16537 while it's still stock or wait and upgrade once it's modded? Or if it even matters?
