When will the uk get the leads that we need

Still waiting for the leads to come over here. Is there any time tabel for these as the US as had them for the last month but all we get is another for days wait.

it would be nice if when you sell somethink like the coolrunner and nand-x that you dont ship untill you have all the bits that takes to use them whats the point in selling something that no one can you becouse we cant get the leads thats needed to make the dame thing work

With all due respect mrfixit. The coolrunner can be used without the leads. The Nand can be read with standard wires and a LPT cable correctly made.:facepalm:

You can make your own cables, or purchase other coolrunner programming cables. How do you think other people in the uk have programmed theirs.

All the leads are doing is to make like easier. Like you i am waiting for the leads to come in. Because i cannot be arsed to make my own, and would prefer to have everything just perfect when i do install it.

I've got mine from the US......no probs - you could have made yourown if you were that eager, I know it's not ideal, but if they held the release of the coolrunner, this thread would just have been - why do the US have the coolrunner and we dont?

Just looked at my supplier that was supposed to get the leads in stock on the 22nd, New revised date of the 29th :facepalm:

i like youselfs would like to do the job properley but it looks like i going to have make the leads myself i just do not see how it can take so long to ship the leads from the US to the UK

i`m using a xilinx parallel 2 programmer . Works a treat . Using the nand-x and nandpro to program the xbox.

No need for extra cables .

If you can`t be assed to wait patiently like the rest of the UK then buy from abroad , It`ll take 4-5 days to receive it and you can get on . Seems a shame you have to be anal about something so trivial that no-one can do anything about . The beauty of the internet is you can buy from all over the world . I dont get why you haven`t bought one yet if you are so impatient , if you had purchased one from the states you would have had it by now and saved us all having to listen to your winging .

And ffs if you have the ability to make the lead yourself , what the hell are you whining about . get on with it init .

i made my own leads nand-x to coolrunner and ck3i to nand x all works perfect now

and i will buy the TX leads when the come

It would be nice to make your own but i dont have the know how to do, and the diagrams are confusing lol Waiting here too, but unfortunately thats all you can do unless you understand the diagrams. I already have the nand-x with v3 code just need cable to program coolrunner

As others have pointed out, If your capable of reading instructions and fitting a coolrunner\nand reader you should be able to make up a lead with the right components. If I weren't installing mine until next month that's what I'd do, I still may if December comes and the lead still isn't in stock. Nothing wrong with those that want to wait either though and get a nice usb update cable version :wink:
