Oh for the Xenon I would most definitely think different hardware.
However his quote of mine was in regards to my inquiry on the Zephyr support needing an software update on current rjtags or another hardware revision.

My wife is killing me at the moment, my Zephry is in bits all over the lounge, she is threatening to bin it if I don't do something with it soon 
So any update on the zephry mod would save me a lot of grief! Cheers

Id say just start to put some of back to gether, but just dont finalize it with the torx screws on the bottom.
Ive had to do this several times with my wife complaining about the kitchen table.
I had to start working on top of a manila folder on my PC printer.

I know what u mean, I've got a couple of xenons lying around needing dvd key retrievals, though their re-sale value hardly makes it worth it, think it might be time to make xenon go the way of Beta-max, lol.
Not looking to resell but would like to have it rjatgged for personal use. How do i Know for sure its a xenon anyway?

There are guides on this site to help identify your console type. A xenon doesn't have a HDMI port and has a manufacture date of 2007 or earlier. Like zephyr, the xenon r-jtag may be unreliable and prone to RROD. Better off getting a falcon or better yet a jasper as they are so much better.
Been following the new hack for a few months. In 2008 I spent more time out of state and away from home for work and duty then I did at home. One day one console that hasn't had an issue after it came back from microsoft the Fifth time, and another that needs a CD-Rom drive fix so I was going to do the RRoD Extreme fix while I was at it. What's the point in spending money on a new 360 when the XBOX One will be out in a few months?

To be fair, anything is better than a Xenon console.
Jasper consoles are the most reliable of them all.
To be honest being i do repairs and mods I am really looking forward to the r-jtag for xenon even though I personally would never get one I do get calls from customers that want them modded or lost dvd key etc would be nice to have a option to offer them again

you can pick up more recent consoles like falcon/jasper for very little nowadays, i got 3 jaspers for £30 the other day!!

The xenon r-jtag is being tested, has been for a while. Xecuter will make an announcement when it is released....... Patience is a virtue, that not all of us have.
