when X3 disabled, xbox reboots!

When I disable the Xecuter3 modchip installed in my xbox my xbox reboots!
Either by holding the power button or selecting to reboot with the chip disabled (in the X3 Config menu)

it reboots, and then the xbox starts with the modchip enabled, wich works perfectly: I can run every xbe I want, configure the chip, flash the chip, browse hdd, ...

any ideas???

I think you need to check the d0 soldering. If it's touching anything else, then it will short making your chip boot enabled every time.

thx for the reply.
It seems the d0 wire got damaged while reassembling the xbox! Dunno how that could have happened... probably when I put dvd player back in place

replaced the wire and problem solved



oh yeah before I forget: Xecuter V1.6 LPC Rebuild PCB works great!!! makes 1.6 xboxes easier to chip than 1.0-1.5 xboxes!

Damn lol my xbox does the same thing. But my D0 pad is ripped of. somehow my dad managed to solder it on. Well.. i wont be needing diableing

XBOX 360 Modifications in Lancashire

Hey everyone, i'm looking to get my XBOX 360 console modified but still hold the ability to login and play on XBOX Live but also use homebrew applications and play downloaded games. I'm pretty sure i've read about such a chip recently which has an ON/OFF switch to enable online gaming if you're not playing a downloaded game.

I'm also willing to pay the price, if there are any modders in the Lancashire area who are willing to mod my console with the necessary chip please reply here or PM me following more information. Thanks for reading
